The opportunity:
- A role as a Associate Director- Operating Model at KPMG will see you working with our clients at multiple levels to review and redesign their operating models. We pride ourselves on the co-design of innovative changes that make a real impact in the market, and align to strategy, executed through roadmaps to achieve their desired future state.
Day to day you will:
- Support organisational operating model design, re-imagining our clients deliver and create impact from their processes, technology, service delivery, people, governance and insights/data in the future.
- Be a strong conceptual thinker with the ability to bring ideas into pragmatic, real world future operating models with strong value propositions and tangible benefits.
- Negotiate and deliver on client expectations.
- Ensure customer/stakeholder satisfaction enabling the development of business across a wide range of industries.
- Identify and proactively respond to new business opportunities to provide added value to clients.
- Apply an awareness and understanding of the general business and economic environments in undertaking engagements.
- Assist with staff supervision, counselling, review and on the job coaching of staff on individual engagements.
- Contribute to the development and marketing of new products and services.
- Actively seek feedback from clients to ensure our service quality is maintained.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Minimum 7 years experience in Management Consulting working across multiple sectors, ideally with strategy, customer and/or operating model experience.
- Consulting experience in a similar environment (preferred).
- A strong understanding of how operating models are influenced by and interact with, business strategy and business models.
- Knowledge of digital operating model trends, drivers and exemplars.
- Demonstrable track record of building lasting client relationships, winning new business and developing existing business.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- An ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with project teams.
- A 'can-do' attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion.
- Excellent problem solving abilities.
- Business development experience.
- An ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven written and oral communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
