Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.The Team Anywhere Business Analyst will own the measurement, data collection, reporting, and insights, that inform leadership and shape Atlassian’s distributed location strategy. This includes deeply understanding and communicating the value of our offices, our gatherings programming, and compensation and benefits approach.This role is a critical partner to Team Anywhere leadership as we continue to innovate the future of work for Atlassian and our customers. The position requires strong cross-functional partnership across the business with Data Engineering, Finance, and People teams.

About the Role

• Own analytics and ongoing reporting for Atlassian’s strategic Team Anywhere initiatives, including performance of our offices and gatherings program, as well as overall business impact of our distributed location strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Team Anywhere VP and leadership team to develop and package insights for Atlassian executives and externally for marketing/PR
• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with finance, compensation, and benefits teams to ensure quality of underlying data, tableau dashboards, ROI inputs, and ongoing reporting outputs; Consult with data engineers on our scalable data infrastructure for analytics
• Independently manage our portfolio of reports and dashboards to monitor the business; Identify and communicate gaps and quickly execute solutions for reporting and development of insights development
• Use data visualization, statistics, and storytelling to effectively answer open-ended and vague business questions

Who You Are

• Consultative approach to continuous improvement with an ability to communicate data into relevant insights for leaders
• Strong technical background in data visualization tools like Tableau, you know statistics, SQL, and data instrumentation
• A data-driven approach to surfacing delivery risks, gaps, and opportunities for automation and improvements in efficiency
• Ability to package data into relevant insight: You’ll be expected to build best-in-class, real-time reporting that combine data sources to a single relatable view
• Strong ability to collaborate remotely with other team members and stakeholders in a high-velocity environment
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical terms and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data

In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $152,2050 - $233,500Zone B: $137,025 - $210,200 Zone C: $126,367 - $193,800Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
