About the RoleAs a Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be an integral player in the Vietnam Strategy & Planning team. You'll take full ownership of various pricing and supply levers, including pricing modeling, driver acquisition, incentives, and allocation. In short, devising and implementing pricing & supply enhancements with cross-functional teams along the way. You'll have a direct impact on the trajectory of Gojek Vietnam's growth and profitability, ensuring the business maintains its market leadership in Vietnam and beyond.
What Will You Do
- Own strategies and implementation for Supply & Demand, with the key lever of pricing & supply budget across acquisition, positioning, retention, and resurrection.
- Experimentation to improve reliability and customer experience: design, test, and scale the solutions to drive business and strategic decision-making on pricing and supply initiatives, utilizing the existing monetary and non-monetary levers.
- Collaborate with compassion with business stakeholders: Growth team, Driver Ops team, Data Science, Product Management, Public Relations, Government Relations, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure that the implementation of pricing enhancement is rolled out seamlessly and to improve supply reliability experience.
- Be the go-to person on anything related to the pricing from pricing new cities/services to working with government relations on pricing regulations.
What We Will Need
- A BS/MS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience within one or more of the following fields: Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Accounting, or relevant industries
- Comfortable manipulating large amounts of raw data with an obsession to detail and accuracy of data
- Able to uncover the story and relationship behind the numbers and communicate the insights to a wider audience
- A proactive and team-player attitude
- Proficiency in multiple analytic and database tools common within a marketing organization (e.g., CleverTap, Tableau, etc.) along with strong knowledge of SQL and experimentation process
- A "scientific" and hypothesis-driven thinking process with the ability to work in increments and exponents
- Strong project management skills to manage complex projects and to prioritize and effectively collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
