The Opportunity:

    • This is an internal facing and “2nd line of defence” role and will be focused on ensuring our National Consulting team is compliant with internal risk management practices
    • You'll review and support others to complete risk management activities rather than executing these activities. 
    • This role will also assist Consulting partners and staff to manage the risks arising from their client facing work.

Day to day you will:

    • Monitor client engagements/opportunities for the Consulting team and communicate the results to the individual teams
    • Analyse risk findings to enhance risk assessment, monitoring and mitigation
    • Support senior leaders with complex issues and share best practices
    • Contribute ideas and recommendations for focus areas to continuously improve
    • Supporting the delivery of risk training
    • Respond to queries from partners and staff within the Advisory team
    • Be a strong and positive advocate for the engagement risk management policies and practices
    • Provide technical knowledge, coaching and training to junior team members.

What you'll bring to the team:

    • Previous project coordination/analysis experience will allow you to proactively manage and assess areas effectively
    • Ability to build meaningful relationships and influence others - you'll be collaborating with a wide range of people across the team so you'll also be comfortable resolving conflict
    • Be highly organised and be able to manage multiple priorities
    • An understanding of and interest in policies and processes to make sure we're meeting requirements first time
    • Strong internal client service focus and interpersonal skills
    • A high level of attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to work in a team environment and provide meaningful support to senior team members
