As an integral part of our dynamic IT team you will responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of information risk and security for Deloitte New Zealand.Your role as IT Security Analyst requires you to coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes and build strong relationships with stakeholders. This role is suited to someone who is highly professional and has excellent communication skills.What does the role involve?You will be responsible for managing the operational delivery and maintenance of the cyber security governance framework as well as working with the business units to provide security advice and assistance. To be successful in this role you will need to be proactive and have a broad knowledge of IT security with a focus on: security operations, vulnerability assessment and control evaluations along with security risk management. 

About You

    • Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a full time IT role, dealing with people and resolving IT related problems. Microsoft qualifications are preferred but not essential in lieu of suitable experience. You should have experience or be able to demonstrate all or some of the following technologies or concepts:
    • 3+ years relevant ITS security experience.
    • Broad experience and knowledge of IT security with a focus on:
    • Security operations.
    • Vulnerability assessments and control evaluations.
    • Security risk management.
    • CISSP or CISM qualification desired but not essential.
    • Knowledge of ISO 27001.
    • Good understanding of the latest cyber security principles, techniques and protocols.
    • Experience with external security standards (PCI, SOC2, ISO 27001 etc.).
    • Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (S-SDLC) or DevSecOps.
