Ethics and Compliance - Advisory Manager

About the Role You will be part of the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Team based in Vietnam, and supporting business units operating there (i.e. Gojek and GoToFinance). The E&C team is focused on the regulatory and corporate policy compliance defined within our Code of Conduct. This role focuses on executing the corporate compliance program to help build an ethical culture, through risk assessments, policies and procedures, training and communications, third-party management, internal controls and monitoring, and internal investigations, incentives, and disciplinary actions. 

What You Will Do

• Be a focal point to provide guidance or advice based on group Ethics & Compliance policies and standards towards internal and external stakeholders.    
• Carry out corporate compliance programs, to ensure compliance with the respective local laws, regulations, company code of conduct, and compliance policies/standards, including but not limited to Anti Bribery & Anti Corruption, Anti Money Laundering, conflicts of interest, and third-party management.
• Assist in the development and evaluation of GoTo Ethics & Compliance framework, policies, and its relevant guidelines for Gojek Vietnam and GTF Vietnam. 
• Execute compliance training program and communication strategy plans for company personnel and external parties across Gojek Vietnam and GTF Vietnam. 
• Provide insight from Vietnam's applied laws and policies to support the policy enhancement and play a driving role to initiate process improvement for Gojek Vietnam and GTF Vietnam.
• Perform initial assessment and collaborative further review on compliance incidents or misconduct cases to determine the key issues and to adjust necessary policies & procedures 

What You Will Need

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Law, or Business Administration from a reputable university with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a corporate compliance officer, consulting or auditing at Big Four firms and/or internal control in a regulated financial entity. 
• Must have a deep understanding of corporate compliance and good corporate governance practices, and must possess relevant experience in establishing and implementing compliance programs
• Preferable to have deep knowledge or experience in implementing the following compliance programs: Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, third-party management, investigation topics, and Conflict of Interest. 
• Possess excellent problem solver and strong analytical skills, curiosity, and strong learning ability, with the mindset from regulatory, risk, and internal control perspectives. 
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively network within the industry and businesses. Must be able to empathize and collaborate with various stakeholders from other functional teams
• Able to work in rapidly changing internal and external environments and support business in a highly competitive and challenging market

About the Team The GoTo Ethics and Compliance team reports to the Chief of Risk Officer. Our team’s mission is to ensure that ethical behavior is at the heart of all business activities, through the strong tone at the top and risk-based approach for our corporate compliance program. As an Ethics and Compliance in GoTo, one gets a unique opportunity to gain exposure to other GoTo operating companies group and across operating locations (ie.
