Oracle Database Administrator I - IN

Job Description Summary:1-3 years experienced Oracle DBA and application with proven working skills to serve Rackspace's global customers, including more than half of the FORTUNE 100.Job Description:• Serve as Oracle DBA for Rackspace's global customer base.• Must have 1-3 years of hands-on Oracle DBA (19c/12c/11g).• Production support of Oracle 19c/12c/11g environments.• Knowledge of Oracle apps would be preferred.• Monitoring - Development, Configuration, and Management.• Customer Backup strategy - implementation and management.• Critical events SLA management and response.• Oracle Enterprise Manager (13c/12c) installation, configuration, and management.• 24/7 Support• The incumbent must maintain the confidentiality of all company and customer information and must not discuss such matters outside of Rackspace. Tact and discretion must be used in all dealings with all customers and potential customers to maintain a positive image of Rackspace.• Experience with UNIX, AIX, Linux, and Windows platforms.• Working knowledge of Shell /Python scriptingCandidate Profile -• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field.• OCP Preferred.• Proven experience in managing, troubleshooting, and monitoring 24/7 Production Oracle database and apps.About Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
