In this critical, highly visible role, you will be responsible for driving product launches across our entire product portfolio. You will help evolve our approach to product launch strategy and management, including implementing new processes and better ways of collaborating to achieve optimal results – and you will have responsibility for developing, executing, tracking, communicating, and benchmarking cross-functional launch readiness across the organization.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have a combination of product marketing / product launch experience, strong project and program management capabilities, consensus building, executive communication skills, and the ability to coordinate resources form a variety of supporting teams. You will work closely with Product &amp; Solutions Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Demand Gen / Campaigns, Sales, and other stakeholders across the company, while also interacting with our Executive team. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Product &amp; Solutions Marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
<ul>
<li>Manage all aspects of the product launch process, including development and execution of cross-functional launch plans and driving cross functional launch readiness, while working with operational stakeholders to drive detailed plans as appropriate.</li>
<li>Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans, and track the deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies of the cross-functional launch team. Understand the scope and operational requirements and impacts of all cross functional teams for each launch. Be the single source of information and communication about launch status.</li>
<li>Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and explore contingency plans throughout the product launch cycle.</li>
<li>Coordinate regular launch team meetings, publishing notes and action items to team members</li>
<li>Communicate launch readiness to stakeholders across the organization in a timely manner, tailoring information to specific stakeholders as needed.</li>
<li>Develop best practices to enable high quality product releases, streamlining processes as needed.</li>
<li>Apply our launch process to all product launches, including inputs, timelines, and key deliverables from cross-functional partners, while managing multiple launches at the same time; facilitate partner early access programs.</li>
<li>Report on launch metrics post-launch, and benchmark against past launches.</li>
<li>Maintain a calendar of future launches, communicating and educating stakeholders on the launch process as needed.</li>
</ul>
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS)
<ul>
<li>Experience.  7-10+ years in product marketing in the high-tech industry, including experience launching new technology products and services. Demonstrated history of management and execution of complex cross-functional projects.</li>
<li>Education. BS/BA required. PMP certification is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to manage in the global, high tech market reality. You can balance competing priorities and deadlines with discipline, taking phased approaches, attention to detail, and experience operating in fast-paced environments. Ability to coordinate people and resources form multiple areas of the company, along with an ability to handle multiple competing priorities. Strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Interpersonal acumen.  Self-motivated, driven and able to work with minimal supervision by bringing passion and a sense of ownership to tasks and outcomes.</li>
<li>Flexibility. We’re a rapidly growing and expanding company.  You’ll need to have some amount of startup DNA to think on your feet, see changes as possible opportunities, and be open to occasional international travel – though expected at less than 10%.</li>
<li>Communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.</li>

<li>Responsible for training and on-boarding new/prospective service providers.</li>

WHAT YOU BRING

As part of our Product and Solutions Marketing organization, you will be reporting to our VP of Product &amp; Solutions Marketing. In this critical, highly visible, global role you’ll look after our marketing messaging, positioning, product marketing plan and GTM execution for our security solutions. You will:

<li>Be our product marketing lead for our Security solutions, including anti-malware, endpoint detection and response, email security, and data loss preventionYou'll lead a small team of product marketers and be the marketing organization's go-to expert on the roadmap, features, functions, use cases and target users while owning creation and maintenance of a relevant, differentiated, compelling product positioning and messaging framework</li>
<li>Be the primary GTM partner for Product Management counterpartsFrom them you'll learn the product business case - including competitive landscape, differentiated technology and capabilities, product roadmap, use cases, and features. With them you'll bring releases to market. And then you'll lead with building a product marketing plan that proposes and connects all of the sales and marketing activities needed to hit sales goals - and product targets</li>
<li>Be a key partner to our Segment (Solution) Marketing leadsYou will work closely with the Segment leads as they work on ensuring your product is covered in our various global and regional marketing campaigns. In turn, they will support you with the insights and messaging to use to tune your product messaging and content</li>
<li>Develop, own and execute a marketing plan for your productWorking with marcom and cross-functionally, you'll build a comprehensive plan that links all launches, campaigns, events, and sales plays with content, coverage and communications channels - offering a single view to everything done to bring the product to market - and then reports back on the results</li>
<li>Own the creation and maintenance of the core product marketing collateral, web, and sales enablement toolsetYou will ensure that all standard assets throughout the funnel are kept up to date, with quality, and following best practices. You will write, author, video, PowerPoint - communicate your product's story in every format and review other work that carries your messaging</li>
<li>Bring market and competitive intelligence, targeting and segmentation information into your plan, and share it with your Product colleaguesPartnering with our AR lead and our Solution Marketing team, you'll bring insights into the trends in the market, into your messaging and content, and will provide these inputs back into the Product team and across Marketing to inform decisions and strategy</li>
<li>Build productive relationships with the sales teamsYou'll support their efforts, but you'll also solicit their feedback on sales tools, messaging, and partner/customer pain points and competitors</li>
<li>Be a public-facing representative for your productYou will complete technical training and be able to conduct live demos, present your product when called upon, and be ready to engage both partners and customers directly to solicit their feedback and experiences to enrich your knowledge - and their perceptions of Acronis. You will also provide tradeshow support serving on 'the booth' and ensuring that sales presentations of your product are on message and on point</li>
<li>You'll use our processes and tools like Jira and SharePoint to track your work and collaborate in our team</li>

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS)
<ul>
<li>10+ years of product marketing experience within the B2B IT industry, with time at an established high-tech company.</li>
<li>Have owned responsibility for a security solution in areas such as anti-malware, endpoint detection and response, email security, or data loss prevention. Experience marketing security products delivered in a SaaS, consumption-based, multi-tenant model.</li>
<li>Broad IT management technical domain in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, or endpoint management.</li>
<li>Experience with planning, resourcing, budgeting, handling dependencies, long-term roadmaps, Agile environments, project management, virtual teaming, and global markets.</li>
<li>Knowledge of both service provider and business customer SMB through Enterprise IT environments, with specific experience working with MSPs.</li>
<li>Ability to dive deep in technology and to convey complex ideas simply and clearly in written and verbal formats, including public speaking, demos and content development.</li>
<li>Successful track record of cross-functional, cross-company collaboration with comfort with high levels of ambiguity in highly virtualized, matrixed, global teams.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and executive presentation skills are important with ability to present to partners and analysts, blog under your own byline, and prior experience and comfort delivering presentations internally or to external audiences - over Zoom or in person.</li>
<li>Experience working across tech and business teams, representing the voice of the partner and customer, and finding creative ways to engage and get feedback from the customer is especially important.</li>
<li>High energy and enthusiasm – the type that is contagious with its potential.</li>
<li>Some travel to events and meetings, including to international locations, may be required but is expected to be under 25% and in accordance with company health and safety policies.</li>
<li>English fluency with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation creation skills.</li>
