The System Security Engineer performs all processes and procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems, services, and networks. In addition, the primary responsibility is to protect the privacy, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and customer data by conducting security reviews, monitoring for security incidents, and creating infosec policies and procedures. 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, document, create, and analyze configuration settings, rules, and alerts associated with information systems, services, and company networks</li>
<li>Conduct security, vulnerability and risk reviews of IT services and IT applications through the use of various automated tools and manual testing procedures</li>
<li>Create Infosec policies, procedures, and playbooks</li>
<li>Create baseline security configuration standards for IT services</li>
<li>Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents</li>
<li>Perform root cause analysis on identified vulnerabilities and identified incidents</li>
<li>Stay informed on the latest known vulnerabilities</li>
<li>Ensure existing and new IT services comply with enterprise security, industry best practices, and audit standards  </li>
<li>Supervise and review some assurance audit activities  </li>
<li>Prepare reports, advise leadership about the status of technology and compliance issues, and make recommendations for risk mitigation </li>
<li>Work with multiple business units to ensure security policies and procedures are being adhered to</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in information security, information systems, or similar preferred</li>
<li>Relevant industry certification in information security, management information systems security or similar preferred </li>
<li>Certifications in relevant securing relevant business applications</li>
<li>Demonstrated practical knowledge in information security, IT, internet concepts, and business applications.</li>
<li>Some experience with infosec testing tools and scripts.</li>
<li>Familiar with SaaS application concepts: secure configuration, API’s, logging, access control, permissions, troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Some experience working with relevant business applications such as ERP, CRM, and IdP solutions.</li>
<li>Familiar with implementing secure IT SaaS applications. </li>
<li>Familiar with OWASP top 10 and MITRE ATT&amp;CK Framework.</li>

The Information Security Engineer will design, develop, and support KnowBe4’s core information security infrastructure &amp; information security procedures, both in the cloud and on premise. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and managing systems,   applications, alerts, scripts, reports, and dashboard that enable and automate key information security functions and provide the core capabilities of information security operations.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assess information security processes and design more efficient methods using scripting and automation</li>
<li>Create scripts to perform data transformation (ETL, cleaning, augmenting, anonymizing, etc)</li>
<li>Design solutions within AWS to enable infosec departments to operate more efficiently (automation, reporting, alerting)</li>
<li>Design and build solutions to fill security or compliance gaps</li>
<li>Development and maintain information security policies, procedures &amp; baselines, SOP’s, diagrams, workflows, etc.</li>
<li>Deploy and maintain infosec systems within AWS</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in relevant field or experience in software development/scripting in the information security space</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year relevant experience in scripting and automation preferred</li>
<li>Relevant information security certifications preferred</li>
<li>Understanding of AWS services and how to use them </li>
<li>Ability to write scripts in Python and read/edit other programming languages</li>

The Senior Application Security Engineer performs all processes and procedures necessary to ensure the safety of KnowBe4 applications and products (on premise and in cloud). Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Has strong understanding of information security, including a broad range of exposure to cloud infrastructure, systems analysis and application development, vulnerability scanning, policies and procedures, and audits.</li>
<li>Experience with cloud computing environments including infrastructure as code, containers and functions.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of CWE top 25 and OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities</li>
<li>Understanding of MITRE ATT&amp;CK matrix</li>
<li>Experience with code development and can read and understand source code in several programming languages such as Ruby, PHP, Go, JS, Python. </li>
<li>Automated and Manual Web, Mobile and Traditional application pentesting experience</li>
<li>Experience with scripting leveraging tools such as Python</li>
<li>Have a strong networking and security understanding</li>
<li>Understanding of modern web application development technologies such as MVC, JWT, GraphQL</li>
<li>Experience with Burp Suite, SAST, DAST, Container and Dependency Scanning tools</li>
<li>Security certification such as OSWE, OSCP, CISSP, GPEN, CEH, CCSP, AWS desired.</li>
