• Identify unaddressed areas of weakness and drive cleverly engineered, scalable solutions that improve our defense-in-depth.
• Automatically gather and analyze risk signals to make our internal operations more effective.
• Helping engineers design more secure systems via design input and code review.
• Define and refine measurements of security risk.
• Mentoring team members to up-level technical and interpersonal security skills.
• Evangelize security to ensure engineering stays informed of security best practices.
• Uplift security of acquired business units by creating security processes and onboarding security tools.

The following experience is relevant to us:

• Significant experience as a developer, ideally with Java and Python
• Strong understanding of web or mobile application security
• Strong communication skills across organizations
• Experience on an internal security team
• Threat modeling and architecture review experience
• 5+ years experience in security engineering, or a related discipline

The starting base pay for this role is between $190,000 and $245,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
