About this RoleThis role will manage the BS/PL reconciliations; assist the manager in managing the accounting team to work effectively and meet all the company requirements and follow government regulations on tax, and the accounting system of Viet Nam.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for managing and controlling the month-end account closing process for the Company
- Ensures accurate and timely financial reports for both Group and Local Statutory purposes
- Coordinate with the Consolidation team and cross-function to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and financial statement
- Maintains and improves financial control and ensures that all accounting procedures are in compliance with Financial Corporate Policies and Procedures
- Manages and controls direct and indirect tax for the company
- Deals with internal and external auditors in the auditing of accounting activities of the Company
- Participates actively in process improvements; and leads and directs activities related to improvements as needed
- Supports change management by understanding and addressing impacts on accounting function whenever there are new accounting policies, financial statement initiatives, non-standard transactions, new tax regulations, or new products/new features
- Perform other assignments from the supervisor
What You Will Need
- 4-5-years’ experience in the relevant role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must possess the ability to focus on details in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and time management skills, organized with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Be able to work independently and as a team-player
- Self-motivated, capable of driving changes and initiatives
- Good team player who is hands-on, committed, responsible, and able to deliver assigned tasks with tight deadlines
- Have strong numeracy, with a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office
- Experience in ERP is a must
- Fluent in English.
