Security Engineer (Defensive Security/Blue Team)

What will you do:

• Configure, maintain, and monitor the EDR, HIDS/NIDS, AV solutions
• Assist in triaging and investigations of alerts from EDR, HIDS/NIDS, AV
• Provide forensics input to Incident Response teams
• Design, document and implement architectures for security tools and technologies, using standards and best practices
• SIEM configuration
• Configure and/or validate log forwarders and processors (support SIEM integration).

We expect:

• 3+ years of experience as a Security Systems Engineer dealing with network and information technology security
• Knowledge in the development and implementation of the following concepts:
Network SecurityLinux System Security and System HardeningData Classification and Data Security.
• Experience with Host and Network Intrusion Detection/Prevention Solutions, Endpoint Detection and Response Solutions (AV, MDM, FW, EDR)
• Experience with *nix/Windows platforms
• Experience with implementing proactive automation with various security systems
• Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell or bash scripting)
• Intermediate or higher level of English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Cloud security
• Master’s degree in Information Security or related field
• Network administration and/or Cybersecurity certifications.
