Microsoft Engineer Voice / Messaging

Rackspace IT Managed Services is responsible for the delivery of a global IT Service Operations capability for a number of internal and especially external IT systems and technologies.  The key purpose of the role is to provide IT design support, IT implementation and 3rd level capability in the management of a wide range of technologies within the Windows® server environment, with responsibilities in design validation and standards assurance, alongside troubleshooting (trouble to resolve) and Change and Release implementation support.  The role holder will be highly motivated, customer focused and experienced in supporting design, implementation and operation of enterprise infrastructure service support which is highly technical in nature.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation of solutions/changes incl. proper transition to operation
• Incident management
• Change management
• Problem analysis and definition of service improvement potentials
• Single point of contact for the customer for all issues in the regarding area in the operation phase
• Documentation and further team quality tasks
• Close cooperation with several global suppliers

Required Skills:

• MS Skype for Business Server incl. Enterprise Voice and/or MS Teams incl. direct routing
• MS Active Directory
• MS Windows Server
• Understanding the principles of the interaction of network services (DNS, DHCP, Proxy, Firewalls)
• English language (fluently) 

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of Audiocodes gateways and Session Border Controllers
• German language skills
• Basic knowledge of ITIL process models
