Rackspace is looking for an experienced Marketing Program Manager to lead, develop and deploy marketing strategies to support its businesses goals in EMEA and the Northern Europe region. The candidate will be based in Amsterdam and will have significant experience in creating successful, measurable integrated marketing programs to drive customer and acquisition revenue growth and retention across multiple channels.As the Strategic Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, tracking, and evaluating local marketing activities and lead generation programs. Your primary focus will be on the Northern Europe region: the Benelux & Nordics countries, collaborating closely with regional sales, senior leadership, external Alliances and the broader EMEA team to drive impactful and cohesive marketing plans.

Your Impact

    • Influence business objectives by generating customer interest and demand in the Northern Europe region.
    • Monitor and analyse the impact and effectiveness of campaigns, presenting recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams, shaping compelling campaign narratives, messaging, and tactics.

Role Responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning, delivering, monitoring, and enhancing marketing programs in line with EMEA and Northern Europe business objectives to generate customer interest and demand in the region.
    • Provide a local presence for Rackspace EMEA marketing in the Northern Europe region. Provide insight re the local trends, topics and stakeholder inputs. Identify ongoing opportunities in the local market regarding demand generation strategies and customer segments to target.
    • Develop the go-to-market strategies and identify opportunities for actionable and measurable marketing programs.
    • Plan, design, resource and deliver a full event and campaign schedule for the region, working closely with the broader EMEA and Global marketing teams to execute.
    • Ensure campaigns and events are executed on-time and on budget with measurable outcomes which meet the defined objectives.
    • Monitor campaign/event impact, effectiveness, and market penetration rates to formulate recommendations to improve results.
    • Operate as part of a strong Northern Europe focused sub-team with connected sales and marketing at its core
    • Collaborate cross functionally with EMEA and Global product marketing, demand generation marketing, and alliance’s to develop ongoing campaign narratives, messaging, and tactics.
    • Operate as part of the broader EMEA marketing team to leverage content, resources and campaigns developed for other sub-regions and to optimise the team work across the function.
    • Define and share ongoing campaign plans and outcomes with sales and other stakeholders inc. Tactics, lead volumes, data trends and  best practice recommendations .
    • Recommend partnerships, resources and tools, familiar to the local market to better the overall marketing outcome and process.
    • Work closely with the Public Relations Manager, EMEA, to develop a PR strategy, messaging and media engagement plan.
    • Contribute to social media platforms in conjunction with EMEA social media manager.

Job Requirements

    • Degree featuring Marketing, Communications, or related field required. MBA is a plus.
    • At least 5 years of experience with revenue-generating Marketing programs required.
    • Highly self-motivated, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and comes with start-up 'anything and everything' mentality.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with team members in local and remote locations
    • Excellent decision making and project management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the agility to respond to new and changing requirements based on both a dynamic market and company environment.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines.
    • Ability to detect patterns, draw conclusions, and present conclusions to internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to make recommendations based on available data.
    • Experience utilizing Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing , and/or other CRM/ Automation tools required.
    • Online, social media, and community marketing experience is preferred.
    • Excellent knowledge of the program management process,
    • Strong knowledge of, and the ability to apply the principles of market segmentation, brand management, marketing communications, and database marketing.
    • Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skill.
    • Ability to speak publicly to both small and large groups.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Based in Amsterdam office but with a requirement to travel to EMEA team meetings approx. twice a year
