Manager - Software Asset Management

The Opportunity:

    • We're looking for a Software Asset Management specialist to join our team and partner with some high-profile public and private sector clients. You will be involved in IBM license advisory, IT asset management and perform software license audits. 

Day to day you will:

    • Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution and oversight of various Software Asset Management (SAM) engagements including SAM current state assessments, software license optimization reviews and SAM tool implementations/integrations 
    • Examine complex software license agreements and deployments to obtain license positions for various software vendors and to provide license optimization advice to our clients 
    • Analyze clients' SAM processes, organization and tools to identify gaps and options for remediation 
    • Project manage SAM system implementations/integrations 
    • Understand and identify opportunities for KPMG's practices and service offerings; project a professional image of KPMG 

What you'll bring to the team:

    • Minimum of five years’ of advisory experience in software asset management including leading SAM assessments, IBM software license analysis reviews and SAM tool implementations/integrations 
    • Relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct meetings with clients and third parties in challenging surroundings 
    • Working knowledge and licencing expertise in IBM is critical 
    • Experience with market leading SAM tools including at least one of the following providers: Flexera, ServiceNow or SAMP 
    • Data analytics skills in SQL, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft would be advantageous. 
    • Strong analytical, research, organizational, issue identification, prioritization, and resolution and report writing skills
