Intern - Mobile Software Engineer (3 month internship)

We introduce the new features used by millions of people every week. We also maintain and extend the existing functionalities so that they are handy to our users. We put our app’s quality as one of the primary objectives. Anything we do is measured in terms of final user impact.  Your teamWe have currently 4 Mobile Teams: Android, iOS, and 2 Cross-platform. Teams are typically made up of 4-6 experienced engineers and 2 automation QAs.This role is based in Katowice, Poland. The internal job title is Software Engineer - Intern. Please note: in this role we offer a contract of mandate (umowa zlecenie) with up to 40 work hours per week. You will be required to work from our office in Katowice and remotely. This is a paid 3-month internship.

As our new Software Engineer - Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Learn how to develop features in large-scale mobile applications 
• Implement new features with the unit and automated tests 
• Build a large app according to the Android or iOS SDK standards 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Some experience in developing native Android or iOS apps – this does not have to be commercial experience 
• An up to date knowledge of Android or iOS ecosystem changes and trends  
• At least intermediate knowledge of English (B1)

Even better if you have:

• Basic Kotlin or Swift knowledge  
• You have basic knowledge or experience with unit testing 
• Familiarity with build automation and CI
