The Global Accounts structure is a new approach for us, in which we are redefining our go-to-market model to deepen our relationships with our customers, explore how we solve their most complex challenges and help them realize value across our solutions.Our Global Account Management team owns retention, accelerates expansion, and transformation for our very largest 35+ Enterprise customers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Global Account Manager who will report to our Head of Loyalty Advocates and be responsible for increasing revenue across Atlassian’s full product portfolio by engaging on strategic renewals and discovering expansion, upsell, upgrade and cross-sell opportunities. You will partner with our Global Sales Team to drive Total Book of Business growth, lead Cloud & Data Center sales cycles end-to-end and provide deal support on large strategic opportunities, and strategic account planning/mapping. 

Your background:

    • You are fluent in German and English
    • Min. of 5+ years experience in strategic global account management, software renewals, customer success or other relevant teams
    • Experience selling Enterprise SaaS products across a global account footprint
    • Experience working with Channel Partners & GSIs to retain and grow customer accounts
    • Experience managing complex, end-to-end sales cycles

What you'll do:

    • Increase revenue by maximizing retention and expansion through a tops-down, solution-oriented approach
    • Develop Senior and Executive relationships over video conferences and in-person
    • Lead end-to-end sales motions across multiple platforms and services
    • Manage renewals and expansion across a sizable product portfolio
    • Partner with our Global Accounts Sales team on account planning and driving total book of business growth through competitive, market and whitespace analysis
    • Increase customer awareness of Atlassian's product portfolio to discover cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
    • Maintain an understanding of product updates and new offerings and articulate those improvements to customers and our solution partners
    • Forecast a pipeline for renewals, upsell and cloud migration opportunities
