DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Bengaluru,Karnataka,India

Experience: 2-5 Years

Reporting To: Head of DevOps

Responsibilities:

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experience with;

 working within an infrastructure support environment coordinating work between local and remotely based teams

• supporting technically diverse development and production infrastructure running custom software, hosted in public clouds, including configuring/maintaining backups, monitoring, security and patching
• working with the Solutions and Delivery Management teams to identify and resolve issues with the design, development and deployment of software solutions
• provision, install, configure and maintain a wide range of services, applications, databases and tools across multiple platforms, environments, customers and cloudy infrastructure providers
• remedy issues in our 3rd line ticket queue, including effective prioritisation, assignment to development teams and escalating resolution where required to ensure we meet our SLAs
• providing last-stop problem resolution for mixed Linux and Windows environments
• create clear and effective documentation
• troubleshoot problems when they occur, quickly and efficiently
• Other task as reasonable requested.

NOTE: as is common with this type of role, occasional out of hours working and on-call duty may be required to support high-priority issues and service impacting releases

Essential Skill :

Candidates are expected to have all of the following skills;

• Virtual infrastructure provisioning & management in Azure & AWS
• Windows and/or Linux guru, aficionado's desired, esp. public web publishing and bespoke app server deployment at scale
• Web hosting expert with IIS inc. ASP.NET, PHP
• Database maestro with some MS SQL/MySQL/Maria, Cassandra or MongoDB provisioning or troubleshooting experience.
• Solid backup & monitoring setup/management
• Good net basics IP4/6, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S firewalling & load-balancing
• Building images & other scripting automation using Bash, PowerShell, VBS, Win Batch or similar
• Building and maintaining Continuous build and release pipelines in Jenkins or Azure Devops or similar platform.

Platform specific certifications, e.g. multiple MCPs or an MCSE

Desired Skills :

Candidates are expected to have some of the following skills;

• Other OS support esp. Ubuntu if windows primary, other common web stacks
• VS C# .Net 4.5 appreciation esp. MS Build and environmental debugging
• Office 365 Management, esp. Exchange and Dynamics Online
• Jenkins and/or DevOps Continuous Integration (CI) distributed setup & management
• Source control appreciation, esp. GIT

Dynamics 365 administration and deployment
