DevOps Engineer - Remote, USA

Join us.Who we are looking for:DevOps Engineers within the R&D team are responsible for accelerating the build-out of security technology proof of concepts using automation, scripting and repeatable processes. Applicants must be proven self-starters with the ability to problem-solve, communicate, participate in diverse project teams from a technical perspective, and interface effectively with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues. 

How you’ll make an impact:

• Design and develop security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments
• Build environments with integrated security technologies
• Create, document and conduct use cases to test the efficacy of security products
• Present and demonstrate proof of concepts  
• Write reports explaining and positioning product technologies
• Security market research including tracking emerging security products and technology

Qualifications for success:

• Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in computer science, information systems, information security or related areas preferred
• 4+ years of practical experience designing, developing, or implementing security technologies or cloud applications. Experience as a developer, systems engineer, or product manager is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with building infrastructure using Terraform and other declarative languages
• Demonstrated experience deploying applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Demonstrated experience with REST APIs, Postman, and API tooling
• Demonstrated experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and configuration management
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab or Jenkins
• Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards with analytic platforms such as Jupiter, ELK stack or Splunk
• Basic understanding of malware analysis, threat intelligence, sandboxing technologies, Anti-Virus, Anti-exploit tools, native code vulnerabilities, and web application vulnerabilities
• Basic understanding of open-source intelligence (OSINT)
• Basic understanding of common attack vectors and penetration testing techniques
