The Risk Modeling & Analytics team is primarily focused on providing a robust perspective of the entire loan portfolio to better manage credit risk. The team is viewed as a critical source of insight into the current and forecast performance of ATB’s credit portfolio and supports strategies to maintain the risk appetite for the enterprise and individual lines of business. One of the Risk Modeling & Analytics team’s key responsibilities is to provide oversight to the credit risk management process by measuring, identifying, and forecasting credit risk. This includes the monitoring of enterprise and portfolio key risk indicators, and reporting of the credit portfolio.
As ATB’s next Data Analyst, you will play a critical part in Integrating credit research, portfolio policy, economic risk analysis, company information, and industry best practice knowledge, to document, deliver and visualize key credit risk messages throughout ATB Financial. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Risk Modeling & Analytics team, the Data Analyst is responsible for developing credit risk reports, analyzing or determining the severity of the risk to ATB Financial, recommending mitigation strategies and providing or visualizing data-driven analysis to senior credit leadership. The Data Analyst also provides guidance and support to the Credit department in the areas of internal stakeholder relations and communications. The primary recipients of documented credit risk reports and policies are Senior Executives and Management (including the Areas of Expertise Senior management) Finance, Compliance and Board of Directors.
