<li>Supporting Virtualization, storage management, and migration</li><li>Supporting VMware vSphere operations and VM installation procedures</li><li>Develop unique strategies to implement, support, and protect software systems, data centers, and servers</li><li>Work within a highly regulated environment and other IT groups</li><li>Support and diagnosis of technical issues involving servers, storage, DNS, and other systems</li><li>Deploy and support for installation of virtual infrastructure</li><li>Manage VMware vSphere environment, which may include network, storage, server infrastructure, application systems, and database systems</li><li>Act as an escalation point on a critical server, virtualization issues for other teams</li><li>Creating and maintaining the virtual server, storage, and data center documentation</li><li>Work closely with the security team to implement security recommendations.</li><li>Participate in the implementation of network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware</li><li>Recommend the implementation of new technologies and processes</li><li>Participate in recommending changes to improve systems and such changes</li></ul>
<h3>What You Bring:</h3>
<ul>
<li>4+ years of experience working with virtualization and server technologies</li><li>Ability to implement, and support IT virtualization and storage infrastructure</li><li>Advanced technical knowledge of VMware virtualization stack</li><li>Experience working with:</li><li>- VMWware VRA</li><li>- VWware vCenter</li><li>Ability to work with different teams (operations, Network, Cybersecurity, CIP Analysts)</li><li>Familiarity of CIP framework and understanding</li><li>Ability to work with multiple Remote Desktop Sessions (RDS) to different terminal servers and jump boxes</li><li>Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems relating to virtual systems, storage, and their application; as well as to perform maintenance and upgrades</li><li>Experience capacity planning and performance tuning in a large enterprise environment</li><li>Ability and willingness to follow the incident, problem, crisis, and change management processes</li><li>Self-motivated and driven attitude – you’re always looking for ways to improve skills and stay relevant in a given area of expertise</li></ul>
