Description:

The Cybersecurity Project Manager shall support the planning, management, and execution of Cybersecurity Operations and Security Risk Management (SRM) projects that comprise releases, applying expertise rooted in project management best practices. The PM shall support Counter-Insider Threat with project planning for Security Audit Monitoring and management, milestone status tracking and reviews, risk and issue identification, tracking and resolution and participation in program and release level activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning and tailoring to refine application of paths, methodologies, and approaches to fit program continuous monitoring needs.
  • Provide coaching support to assist in Program government staff in the adoption and execution of incremental monitoring operations.
  • Draft, review, and update project management documentation in accordance with the guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor, track, review and update project status, and provide analysis to ensure that all impacts are identified early in the project planning.
  • Develop and maintain a configurable set of project guidance, documents, and plans to be tailored to each project.
  • Facilitate lessons learned reviews with continuous development, documentation, communication, and application of lessons learned.
  • Support all project-related reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
