Cybersecurity Operations Program Business Analyst, AVP
Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Operations (CSO) Business and Program Analyst is an organized and technically-experienced business analyst supporting the CSO Chief of Staff organization, focused on program management and business operations. The Analyst will work directly with technical teams within the Security Operations Center, Vulnerability Assessments, Cyber Fusion Center, Threat Intelligence, and Partnerships & Engagement teams for business-related and project tracking needs across the CSO organization.
Embedded within the CSO Business Operations team, the Analyst will primarily focus on project and contract process tracking contribute to financial management, vendor and contract tracking.
A successful candidate has the following characteristics:
Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies, policies, and risks
Experience with technology operations or security operations
Established project and/or program management experience
Highly organized and able to track progress and status of dozens of projects at once
Familiarity with cybersecurity operations components, teams, and objectives
Working knowledge of project/task/issue management software and tools
Process-focused with an understanding risk and efficiency balance
Prioritizes collaborative relationships with key partners
Desire to learn from peers and stakeholders outside of the team
Excellent communications, collaboration, and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
Maintains vendor engagement and strategic project data within a Jira-based application
Creates and maintains progress and scorecard reporting for strategic projects
Assists in maintenance of CSO financial book of work and workforce planning
Collects and formalizes requirements for new cybersecurity initiatives
Aids in assessing vendor solutions against business requirements and for financial suitability
Bespoke organizational and financial reporting
Assesses and validates staff development opportunities, including cybersecurity conferences, events, and trainings
Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience in information/cybersecurity
2+ years’ experience in business analysis and/or project management
Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data management
Demonstrated experience with Jira
Experience with business intelligence tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau
Experience in technical project management preferred
Experience with ServiceNow applications preferred
Desired certifications include PMP, CISA, or equivalent
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
