Primary ObjectivesThe customer from the automotive industry is operating a VMware Horizon environment on-prem (4000 clients). They want to start using VDIs in the cloud, not put more capacity in their data center. It's not decided if they are using AWS Workspaces or Azure Virtual Desktop. Because of the customer’s environment, both solutions have pros and cons. The project is intended to run for three years and should transition into an operations mode. There will be no big-bang migration, rather an iterative approach to bring more and more use cases into the cloud. Related topics like Microsoft Intune are not in the focus for the beginning of the project.
