Broadcast Platform Manager

If so, then our Broadcast Platform Manager could be the perfect next step for you! The broadcast platform team have the end-to-end visibility and understanding across DAZN’s entire live video workflow. Working from signal acquisition to CDN delivery you will help scope new workflows and make improvements to existing ones with all internal and external parties. You will be key in helping to shape the ever-evolving technology selection and deployments facilitating DAZN’s unparalleled growth. As our new Broadcast Platform Manager you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Identify, action and complete technical improvements across the broadcast platforms
• Be the key technical conduit for live production workflows with internal and external teams
• Create process and workflow improvement across teams, influencing externals to benefit DAZN’s evolving requirements 
• Device utilisation and capacity modelling
• Influence project requirements and driving acceptance criteria
• Deep dive into technical issues with relevant teams and fault trend analysis to mitigate and improve for continual service improvement
• Stakeholder manage during and post incident
• Ensure pertinent documentation is relevant and provided
• Communicate key changes and information across the broadcast teams

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Deep broadcast knowledge and experience across, acquisition, production, transmission and distribution
• Great communication skills, tailored for all levels of technical ability and understanding
• A track record of building relationships across multiple teams and seniority levels to deliver a collaborative working environment
• Ability to work anti-social hours to give support during key live events or incidents

Even better if you have:

• Cloud broadcast deployment experience
• Business case proposition   
• Financial budgeting
