We’ve secured some major sports contracts from Matchroom Boxing to the Women’s Champions League and the Serie A, as well as launching some huge partnerships with Youtube and Snapchat. Recently a job role has come available in our Transmission team, meaning that we need an engineer to join the group and have an impact on millions of daily users. We regularly promote internally so this is a wonderful place to start in your DAZN career. We are also proud that despite the workload, we try and keep a relatively relaxed atmosphere in the transmission room.If you believe you have the characteristics that we are looking for here at DAZN, get in touch and we can organise an interview!<h3>As our new Broadcast Support Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to:</h3><ul><ul><li>Monitoring of DAZN’s critical broadcast systems</li><li>Act as an escalation point for operations teams in resolving technical faults.</li><li>Provide regular maintenance of broadcast playout and related production equipment.</li><li>Follow best practice and procedure on internal and external ITSM systems.</li><li>Attending meetings with team leaders and senior engineers to improve process and instructional guidance documentation.</li><li>Communication and escalation with vendors</li></ul></ul><h3>You’ll be set up for success if you have:</h3><ul><ul><li>Knowledge of broadcast technology including playout, IP networking, contribution, and video and audio encoding</li><li>Experience with technical fault finding and root cause analysis</li><li>Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or similar</li><li>Experience using monitoring tools such as Dataminer, Grafana or similar</li><li>Experience working on 24/7 shift patterns</li></ul></ul><h3>Even better if you have:</h3><ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualisation technologies</li><li>Awareness of current OTT encoding technologies.</li></ul></ul>At DAZN, we bring ambition to life.
