System Administrator - Security Operations

The requested profile is a Microsoft System Administrator for supporting security implementations in Microsoft systems within the Security Operations team.

Nature of tasks

Service and Project oriented: In addition to the tasks described for the profile in Service Requirements document for the framework contract, the selected person will need to be able to support both daily operations for relevant services and contribute to the execution of new projects.

Main activities for profile entail then both Service and Projects on all areas related to the required Knowledge and skills section below.

Knowledge and skills

• Expert level
  • Security on Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Windows Server 20xx, Active
  • Directory).
  • Vulnerability detection and management solutions (Tenable Nessus, Tenable Security Center, and others).
  • Security monitoring and attack detections (i.e., Tenable Identity Exposure).
  • Incident response processes and techniques.
  • Network Security techniques and technologies.
  • Network logging systems (Syslog and SIEM log correlation applications, Splunk)

• Administrator/Operator level
  • System administration of Linux servers (RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and others).
  • Operating and monitoring of infrastructure, systems, and servers.
  • IDS/IPS Network intrusion detection technologies.
  • Dual Factor authentication systems (token and radius servers).
  • Web Application Firewalls (e.g., F5).
  • TCP/IP networking and services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP).
  • SSL VPN Technologies (e.g., Pulse Secure systems).
