You'll be part of the team improving our customer's important daily interactions with our product, which is relied on by modern software development teams worldwide.As a Senior Product Designer, your mission will be to bring high-quality end-to-end experiences our customers love. You'll improve the core experiences across our products, including Jira Software, Confluence, Trello, Bitbucket and many more, for tasks that people do every day. You'll focus on how we can increase our customer's satisfaction and also delight them.

In this role, you will bring:

    • 5+ years of professional UX/product design experience, having designed complex or enterprise-level software
    • Driving user-centered design process to tackle complex customer problems
    • Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to work across multiple teams, solicit and synthesise feedback, and facilitate design discussions
    • Be open to the iterative design process – always sketching, showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, learning, and growing
    • 5+ years of experience conducting and applying customer research, including design thinking, prototyping, and conceptual modelling
    • The ability to see the whole user experience, not only the part you're working on, and have as much skill in identifying what needs to be removed, as you do in suggesting what can be added
    • Defining projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback

As a Senior Product Designer at Atlassian you'll:

    • Report to one of our successful and amazing Design Experience Managers
    • Make a substantial impact at scale. We have more than 10M users all around the world—and teams (massive and small) depend on our software to do their work. Organisations like NASA, Twitter, and LinkedIn use Atlassian products everyday;. As a designer involved in everything from ground floor product strategy to UI implementation, your work will have incredible customer impact.
    • Solve interesting, complex projects - you'll work with your engineering and product partners, you'll have a large amount of ownership and autonomy across the entire design process; rather than just design individual features, and you'll determine the experience of an exciting and critical area of our business.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with some of the smartest (and nicest) people in the industry. Day-to-day you'll work on a fast-moving, multidisciplinary product team, collaborating closely with Engineers, Product Managers, Content Designers, Researchers, Marketing Experts, and Analysts to advocate for the user experience in our products and ship high-quality work.
