If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer, Data Protection to define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions as well as develop business processes and policies/standards related to controlling access to data.

The Role:

    • Develops and maintains policies and standards to validate the effectiveness of the design, deployment, and management of security controls that aim to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of data within the Lucid environment
    • Designs and develops security solutions, technical and reference architectures and supporting security strategies tailored to Lucid's business needs in relation to infrastructure and services
    • Conducts independent reviews to validate compliance with security policies and procedures
    • Maintains high-value asset (HVA) data program
    • Designs data protection strategy to protect the collection or creation, storage, use, transmission and disposal of data
    • Oversees technical and functional requirements to configure and deploy data protection technologies
    • Coordinates and oversees the management and implementation of DLP technologies and processes, specifically for the maintenance, testing and review of DLP rules
    • Reviews and investigates alerts generated from data protection technologies and escalate as appropriate
    • Collaborates with cybersecurity, IT and business stakeholders to promote and drive adoption of data protection tools across Lucid
    • Keeps up-to-date with data protection and privacy regulations, laws, standards and industry trends
    • Acts as an assigned business area’s Subject Matter Resource (SMR) to provide the Cybersecurity organization with insight to a business area’s security capabilities, technologies, critical business services, and compliance to cybersecurity policies and standards

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, post Graduate degree a plus
    • 7+ years of experience in data protection, integrating data protection software into infrastructure and applications, DLP, content monitoring/filtering, secure messaging/email encryption, mobile device security, etc.
    • A solid technical foundation in data loss prevention, including hands-on experience with at least one DLP solution, management of an information protection program and supporting information protection processes, or commensurate experience in DLP/information protection support for an organization
    • Experience with design and implementation of Wi-Fi solution for the campus and multiple sites with access layer security like Cisco ISE / Meraki
    • Knowledge with design and implementation large Enterprise WAN networks with BGP, OSPF routing protocols
    • High degree of competency in Packet Analysis, Firewall log analysis, and application performance over the network
    • Certified in one or more of the following: SANS GIAC Security Certifications, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP – ISSAP, CISSP
    • Technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into Lucid's infrastructure, network architecture design, implementation and administration
    • Ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment, and meet overall objectives

Preferred Requirements:

    • Experience with security and privacy compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOX, etc)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical personnel
    • Automobile and/or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
