Nuro is a robotics start-up whose mission is to accelerate the benefits of robotics for everyday life. We have an elite team of entrepreneurs and engineers, designers, and scientists. We believe AI and robotics are at the cusp of transforming daily life and we are dedicated to building meaningful products with this technology. Join us and play a critical role in our mission.
As an Offensive Security Test and Evaluation Engineer at Nuro, you will validate Nuro’s security posture by conducting advanced attacks against Nuro's autonomous vehicles and the infrastructure supporting them. The safety and security of the people in the communities we operate in is your north star. You are an expert in exploitation of embedded and IT systems with a keen understanding of how to design and execute realistic attacks. You will think like an attacker to identify threat models and execute these advanced attacks against our most critical systems. You will test our detection and response capabilities during red team exercises and provide feedback to the engineering teams on how to mitigate or redesign the system.
You’re keen to work hands-on with cutting edge technology ranging from machine learning to embedded systems to networking to privacy. You’re a collaborative thinker, and thrive in fast-paced and collaborative environments. You want impact and to take ownership of critical aspects of vehicle behavior and design.
At Nuro, we celebrate differences and are committed to a diverse workplace that fosters inclusion and psychological safety for all employees. Nuro is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and expressly prohibits any form of workplace discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics.
