This role can be based in either our office in Sydney or remote in Australia. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Australia or have sponsorship to live and work in Australia.

What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work.The Jamf Security Sales Engineer’s (also known as a Systems Engineer or SE) primary role is to partner with other members of the Sales Team to achieve sales goals and targets. This position will evaluate the technical requirements of new sales opportunities and present technical solutions to meet the needs of prospective, existing customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers throughout the sales process for Jamf’s security products and solutions.
  • Demonstrate Jamf security products to internal teams, prospective customers, and Jamf channel partners.
  • Mentor the ANZ sales engineering team, and technical channel partners on Jamf’s security products.
  • Work jointly with the ANZ business development and sales teams, in order to understand the security marketplace in each sales region and develop strategic technical solutions with unique business value.
  • Support product evaluations, proof of concept, and pilot implementations of Jamf’s security solutions to timely success.
  • Identify the ongoing service needs of customers and recommend support and service engagements in order to ensure customer success.
  • Support the sales team in achieving revenue and billings goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Jamf by presenting at relevant conferences, events, community groups and roadshows.
  • Assist the global SE team via product testing and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise closely with Jamf security product development teams to influence product feedback and improvements.
  • Other assigned special projects as required.

Skill & Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or higher preferred
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Fluent oral and written language skills in English (Required)
  • 3 years+ in security technical sales, support or services experiences (Required)
  • Relevant business/professional qualification (e.g. CISSP), or equivalent job experience
  • At least one of the following is required:
    • Detailed understanding of Mac and/or iOS security technologies within a business environment
    • Experience of working within a technical security-based team or organisation
    • Experience with presenting/speaking to an audience on technical security topics
  • Great relator, able to build relationships at all levels
  • Effective self-organizer, able to multitask and work efficiently without supervision
  • Professional manner and self-presentation when face to face with prospects/customers
  • Able to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results driven culture
  • Able to work independently in the field and as part of a team
  • Relentlessly demonstrates selflessness and self-improvement
  • Proficient, well-rounded experience in technical consultative selling to multiple levels within a complex organization, up to and including C-level
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging and meaningful presentations
  • Able and willing to travel up to 50%
