Since Snowflake handles a wide variety of data for its customers, Snowflake has implemented a disciplined and strategic data protection program. The Product Security & Compliance Program Manager is a high visibility customer-facing leader within the Snowflake Security team, responsible for four primary objectives:

  • Manage and expand the Snowflake Quarterly Security Review (QSR) Program for Top Tier Customers (more details below)
  • Partner cross-functionally across Snowflake to represent Snowflake’s Security and Compliance Program
  • Triage Top Tier Customer Security and Compliance requirements and share with relevant stakeholders
  • Support Snowflake Security Compliance programs, obligations, and audits

AS A PRODUCT SECURITY & COMPLIANCE PROGRAM MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL :

  • Manage the Quarterly Security Review Program including but not limited to:
    • Engaging with Top Tier Customers to establish relationships with customer’s Security and Compliance points of contact
    • Developing general as well as customer-specific security and compliance content
    • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to provide customers with meaningful updates on features and programs
    • Identify requirements that would enable additional customer use cases 
    • Drive implementation of customer requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Become an expert on the security features available for customers to deploy within the Snowflake Service, including best practices for implementation.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure team objectives are achieved. 
    • Monitor completion of requests for customer and prospect security information, including completing security questionnaires, distributing sensitive documentation, and 
    • Educate the Snowflake Sales team on Snowflake Security programs.
  • Manage on-site customer audits, conference calls, and potentially local in-person meetings.
  • Collaborate with Snowflake’s global sales team to improve internal process/communication surrounding the QSR program to enable faster and more seamless experiences for our customers. 
  • Measure effectiveness of QSR program and engage with Snowflake Management on QSR Program and Customer Requirements

OUR IDEAL PRODUCT SECURITY & COMPLIANCE PROGRAM MANAGER MUST HAVE :

  • Passion for customer satisfaction
  • Previous role that requires exceptional organizational skills
  • Project or program management experience
  • Extremely high ethical standards as proven by successful background checks and references
  • Experience working with C-level customer contacts 
  • Previous experience working with a variety of personalities from a variety of cultures
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Technical competence sufficient to understand and explain complicated security concepts
  • Familiarity with three or more of the following standards: PCI, SOC1, SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001/17/18, FedRAMP, GDPR etc. 
  • NIST 800-53 expertise is mandatory
  • Experience with SaaS / Cloud solution is mandatory
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud is mandatory
  • Analytics or database experience is preferred
  • CISSP or similar certification

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado:

  • The estimated pay range for this role, if based in Colorado, is $140,600-$187,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado with compensation that aligns with your location.  The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
