Manager, Loss Prevention and Security Operations

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton’s Manager, Loss Prevention and Security Operations will manage the Loss Prevention and Security programs within retail, inside sales, logistics, supply chain and e-commerce teams. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a variety of partners to bring innovation and standardization to loss prevention, security and shortage strategies, delivering best-in-class solutions. This role has responsibility for LP, policy and procedure development, incident management, analysis, physical security, shortage control and investigations. This leader is a key member of the Global Security Operations organization, working with cross-functional partners throughout the organization to drive profitability through loss prevention, security and investigations. A successful Manager, Loss Prevention and Security Operations will deliver measurable results, inspire change, build trust, and drive a robust culture of loss prevention and security through innovation, influence, teamwork and lean principles.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Manage the development, review, and revision of Loss Preventions policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support other GSO programs as needed
  • Enhance, track, and report on key performance indicator metrics, allowing for performance improvements to drive desired outcomes in a timely manner
  • Investigate cases of internal and external theft or fraud, conducting interviews when appropriate
  • Effectively address security incidents, including potential and actual workplace violence incidents, theft, fraud, civil unrest and other events as needed
  • Conduct regular LP assessments and routinely test incident response plans  
  • Develop business cases that receive the required approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired changes
  • Provide necessary solutions by developing business cases through required financial and technical approvals
  • Serve as a department liaison and loss prevention subject matter expert

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 5+ years working in one or all of the following subject areas: corporate security management, loss prevention/asset protection, transportation/supply chain security, and/or investigations
  • 5+ years supervising multiple locations across a large geographical area
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service driven environment
  • Be a leader driven by results that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Familiarity with databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, etc. is preferred
  • Analytical leader experienced in performance-based action and results-oriented management, as well as strong project manager and effective problem solver, is a plus
  • The ability to take calculated risks and challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations is preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver results within specific timeframes
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring to team members as needed
  • Familiarity with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control, and camera systems (preferred: experience with Genetec)
  • Experience with Google Productivity Suite and MS Office Professional Suite, to include intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Up to 20% travel (domestic and international)
  • Able to work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5 miles a day and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Experience with warehouse or distribution center services
  • Wicklander-Zulawski certification preferred

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
