About the Role:

The Manager, IT Security II is in charge of the implementation and maintenance of programs related to all aspects of security and safety at Motive. This role will be critical in the delivery and ongoing enhancement of programs that help protect our people, locations, and customer information.  This role will report directly into the Director, Information Security.This person will work in a fast-paced environment focused on creating a secure and safe environment for our employees, and customers.  They will be in charge of investigating root causes of incidents, creating and driving the implementation of internal controls that reduce internal and external losses, facilitating program and project development, threat assessments, risk mitigation, and threat response.

What You'll Do:

  • Overseeing key areas of the Global Information Security Program including security incident response, data protection, and risk management
  • Lead team of Security Analysts located in Pakistan
  • Conduct third party risk management / vendor security assessments
  • Establishing and coordinating remediation and mitigation for security risks identified by Security Operations Center, bug bounty program, and Vulnerability Management Program
  • Providing subject matter expertise in information security and identifying key security program elements
  • Maintaining security policies, standards, guidelines, processes and procedures to ensure ongoing protection of information assets
  • Ensuring technical security controls and technology are maintained and resourced appropriately
  • Delivering tactical Security guidance for IT initiatives
  • Maintaining security controls that support NIST, SOC2, ISO, PCI and SOX or equivalent frameworks
  • Coordinate compliance initiatives such as quarterly reviews and audit evidence collection

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 5+ years of related experience including 2+ years of manager experience or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent
  • Technical experience with security scanning and monitoring tools
  • Focused personality, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Proven self-starter, requiring little supervision to take initiative and execute above duties
  • Tactical execution experience, thrive in a high growth environment, able to navigate fast-paced decision-making and execution, and can move ideas forward in a dynamic environment
