About the Role Gojek Vietnam Legal Team is seeking a qualified senior legal counsel to join us. You will support product and business teams in operating our current products (GoRide, GoCar, GoSend, and GoFood) and ensure our new products/features comply with local regulations.
What You Will Do
- Advise daily and support the business team on operating current Gojek’s products :
- - Daily support directly to Gojek’s business unit for each Gojek’s products (i.e., GoRide, GoCar, GoFood, GoSend)
- - Ensure full compliance for regulated products, including monitoring all periodic reports to relevant local authorities, and all other compliance requirements.
- - Complete licensing for regulated products/features and update e-commerce license (i.e. update Gojek Apps) at local and ministerial licensing authorities
- - Provide legal analysis for new products/features or new regulations that impact Gojek’s business
- - Draft, review & update T&C and other communication materials applicable to the relevant product/features
- - Peer review agreements to be entered by Gojek with other partners
- Ensure that the deliverable legal support meets the high business requirements while staying fully complied with the current legal framework in Vietnam
- Collaborate effectively with the regional product team and cross-functional team for monitoring changes in product features across Gojek Apps
What You Will Need
- Excellent legal writing
- Experience in dealing with local licensing authorities, in particular to Department of Transport, Department of Information and Communication, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Industry and Trade
- At least 4-5 years of experience practicing laws in transport, postal services, e-commerce, and digital platform
- Adaptable, critical-thinking, can-do spirit, quick action and fast learner
