About the Role:
The security team owns the incident detection and crisis management. This is the team for you if you are passionate about optimizing and reducing the time it takes to detect and remediate malicious activity against Remitly while providing a delightful development experience. You will report to the Engineering Manager of "Detect and Respond". As the Technical Lead for Security's Detect and Respond, you will establish metric goals and build an outstanding ecosystem of tools and services for teams and help establish the standard and culture across all of Remitly regarding security awareness. You will work with multiple engineering teams, design complex deployment and tooling systems to detect and remove bad actors from our environments.
