ABOUT THE ROLE

With big plans for 2022, we’re on the hunt for an Information Security Architect to be responsible for the design, building, testing and implementation of security systems and controls within our IT network, data and applications.

The day to day stuff:

No two days are ever the same at Sorted, and your role will be varied and diverse. The pace we move at also means priorities will change, so you’ll need to be comfortable with multitasking and shifting workloads. But when plans shift around, we work together to ensure you have full support and clarity on expectations and deadlines.

Here are some of the things that will be core to your role.

• You will collaborate to deliver designs and patterns for products and services and agree on approaches to new technology
• Develop vision, principles and strategy for our security architecture

• Research and apply innovative security architecture solutions to new or existing problems and be able to justify and communicate design decisions
• Developing data strategies and documentation
• Identify opportunities for improvement and comply with corporate, legislative, contractual or regulatory requirements
• Creating and communicating baseline security requirements to ensure consistency in designs and supplier contracts
• Ensuring all security architecture-related knowledge is readily accessible for use by other teams to access

Requirements

ABOUT YOU:

You should apply if:

• A bachelors associates degree in IT, computer science or related field
• 5-10 year’s experience in information security and IT risk management

• A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations and cloud infrastructure
• Certificated to CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCISO or equivalent professional certification
• Relevant architectural experience, including an understanding of NIST. SABSA, TOGAF and Zachman or equivalent frameworks
• Data management and BI systems
• Data visualizations

And it would be super great if:

• Advanced IT Security certificates
• You know what it’s like to work in a scale up company and love the vibe (and sometimes chaos!)
