Information Security Analyst, Journeyman

CSA is seeking a Information Security Analyst, Journeyman in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • This position will be a key member of the Army National Guard (ARNG) Distributed Learning Program (DLP) team.  Duties include:
  • Collect the ARNG Distributed Learning Classroom (DLC) change requests submitted by the State DLP.
  • Provide the DLP Program Manager (PM), Contract Officer’s Representative (COR), or Government-designated representative with weekly reports that track initiated, open, and closed change requests.
  • Meet weekly with the DLP to coordinate and synchronize information about actions for the change requests.
  • Analyze DLC change requests against the standards for asset and configuration management.
  • Provide the PM, COR, or Government-designated representative with a report that provides the analysis and recommended courses of action for each change request.
  • Monitor DLC assets, configuration, and State-level programs for the DLP.
  • Provide the PM, COR, or Government-designated representative with a spreadsheet updated each month that tracks the locations and configurations of all DLCs and provides a roster with contact information of all State DLP Administrators (SDLPAs) and other State-level points of contact associated with the DLP.
  • Maintain current knowledge of published DOD, U.S. Army, and ARNG Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies, regulations, and guidance that apply to the DLCs and their related technical infrastructure.
  • Provide draft documents and communications of current knowledge of the above.
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement activities to ensure stable core business processes.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study. Additional four (4)  years of job-related experience maybe substituted for education requirements.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as Information Security Analyst to include knowledge about information and communication technology policies, concepts, architectures, hardware, software and infrastructure; implementation of the RMF for computers and networks;  implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides for computers and networks; utilizing the eMASS; and utilizing the APMS.
  • Secret Clearance Required
