Cyber Security Security Engineer

CSA is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer in Pensacola, FL. In this role, you will provide support to the Naval Education and Training Command Cyber Security Compliance Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).

Responsibilities

  • Provide Enterprise Vulnerability analysis utilizing Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)
  • Review, comprehend,  and documenting findings from ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) Reports
  • Determine security posture and threats utilizing Splunk logs and dashboards

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 8570 IAM Level I Baseline Certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) or qualifying degree in lieu of certification
  • Knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Enterprise Microsoft Defender for Endpoints (MDE)
  • Knowledge of fundamental networking (IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Experience with Navy SAAR-N Process
  • Experience with DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) 
  • Experience with Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Federation Service (AD FS), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Experience with Splunk
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting, reviewing, and editing technical graphs, briefs, or documents
  • Evidence of being detail-oriented with strong critical thinking in areas of IT process analysis and improvement
  • Ability to coordinate and work well with others in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited institution in related field (e.g., Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Business, Engineering, or Physical Science, etc.)
  • IT Project Management experience supporting Navy or DOD network systems
  • Experience with various cloud technologies such as MS Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) and security guidelines for each
