Cyber Security Engineer

Job Brief:

Responsible for planning, designing, deploying configuration, troubleshooting and executing UAT for Cyber Security solutions at enterprise clients, as well as supporting them as subject matter expert during the commitment period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in designing Cyber Security solution as per standards, and build the project BOQ/BOM
• Work with clients to better understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions to fulfill their business and technical objectives
• Work closely with procurement department and technology vendor for pricing the proposed Cyber Security solutions
• Help presales team in presenting and demonstrating Cyber Security solutions, as well as building the proposed technical write-up for the targeted solution(s) including scope of work, responsibility matrix, SLA with vendor…etc.
• Take accountability for overall Cyber Security solutions activation project performance, manage project with defined contract, ensure project plan, measure project performance, and take corrective actions
• Interface with customers on all technical matters including lab trials, testing, and deployments
• Help to fulfil the technology vendor(s) requirements to maintain the partnership as addressed by Product Manager
• Assist in creating processes, detailed documentation, and artifacts that will be used at scale to develop and evolve enterprise technologies
• Support business team by engaging with clients to maximize the adoption of new Cyber technologies across the business and the use cases that it enables in support of a client’s digital transformation
• Work with Umniah stakeholders and customers to converge on offering requirement
• Work on defining a detailed technical requirements and system-level design (SLA), as well as provide architectural expertise and guidance
• Support enterprise clients whether remotely or on-site and fulfil the SLA as proposed to client, measure the performance and write RFOs
• Take the required technology vendor certifications as assigned by manager and in alignment with Product Manager

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:

• Experience in cyber security operation and information security
• Excellent command of computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Very Good command of English language both speaking and writing
• Very Good command of communication skills
• Very Good command of technical writing and reporting skills

Desirable:

• Experience with large enterprise cyber security infrastructure designing and support
• Excellent understanding of platform and Cyber security technologies
• Good knowledge in NIST Framework and ISO27001
• Good knowledge of scripting using Python and PowerShell
• Good knowledge of project management fundamentals
