As part of Citi Infrastructure Defense team, the analyst position will participate and be responsible for analysis, design, support of system and network security application troubleshooting. The ideal candidate shall have ability to gather requirements, specifications, and document the technical requirements.  Candidate must have demonstrated broad technical knowledge on skill sets,  be able to perform off-hours support, and work independently.  Successful candidate will be results oriented, work well in a fast paced, highly collaborative team environment, and be able to multi-task and reprioritize tasks as needed. Candidate will regularly interact with internal customers and adjacent teams. As such, candidates must possess solid verbal and written communication skills, strong personal initiative and expert problem solving abilities.

The  Infrastructure Defense Configuration Management Specialist position is responsible for preventative maintenance of the security infrastructure in network , application , host, and Endpoint security,  advanced level troubleshooting in a level 3 capacity, and oversight of the performance monitoring and tuning processes.  The senior analyst must be a self-motivated, responsible for providing network security product acceptance in collaboration with network security engineering teams for the Citi Infrastructure Defense network.   

Responsibilities:

• Create the network security strategy and availability playbook for Citi network security sector.

• Act as the subject matter expert in the Cyber Security domain and act as technical lead for integration and operation team of supported products.

• Partner across multiple department including Engineering, Operation, Risk Management, and Security Operations Center (SOC).

• Able to identify security deficiencies and deviations from established standards and policies, and provide effective solution to mitigate the risk.

• Apply experience with network security concepts and technology to analyze complex network perimeter infrastructure designs. 

• Consult on specify product requirements for monitoring, backup, audit logging & audit review, authentication & authorization, and routing protocols configuration for information security infrastructure products.

• Develop automation for operational tasks and reporting using Unix/Linux skills, Shell, Perl and PHP scripting.

• Provide Quality Assurance

 Requirements:

•  5+ years firewall experience on Check Point, and Palo Alto PAN gateway.

•  5+ years experiences on Checkpoint Provider-1 implementation and upgrade.

•  3+ years experiences on Palo Alto Panorama implementation and upgrade.

•  2+ years experiences on Application, Information, and endpoint Security domain.

•  Strong understanding of Cyber Security concepts and technology.

•  Advance Unix/Linux skill set.

•  Expert knowledge of PERL, Python, and Shell Scripting.

•  Experience with automation/configuration management.

•  Experience with Portal technologies (design, development, best practices)

•  Familiar with configuration and change management requirement and process

•  Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple complex tasks

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
