Duties and Role:
Under the direction of the Cyber Security Branch Head, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
Primary Duties:
- Build and configure McAfee ePO Server(s) as directed;
- Manage McAfee ePO Server(s) on a daily/regular basis;
- Deploy McAfee Endpoint Security products across an Enterprise on a daily/regular basis;
- Various Cyber Incident Handling tasks as directed;
Potential Additional Duties depending on individual knowledge and experience could include:
- Assist in managing of the crypto material and public key infrastructure in accordance with NATO, ACO, and Agency directives;
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of local accreditation documentation;
- Assist in the communication with other CSU internal units, Service Lines and other Security Authorities;
- Provide cyber security advice and Level 1 support as required;
- Assist in the implementation of security settings at the local level;
- Assist in the execution of the security incident management process;
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments within policy guidelines and as directed;
- Assist in the monitoring and support of assigned systems and portions of the networks including the support to local cyber security training and awareness programs;
- Provides CIS Security technical support and assistance to NATO CIS Operating Authorities;
- Provide digital forensic support to security investigations as directed;
- Provide assistance to Tier 3 to include event analysis and interpretation;
- Conduct security inspection and configuration activities of electronic devices introduced to the assigned AOR;
- Assist in maintaining the security incident register and act as the alternate COMSEC custodian;
- Implement security awareness training for site uses;
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognized / certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- Minimum 2 years' continuous experience in the following McAfee domains: Building and configuring McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO); Server(s); Managing McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Server(s); Deploying McAfee Endpoint Security Products across an Enterprise;
- Experience in working with enterprise configuration management applications such as Microsoft System Centre Configuration Management (SCCM) 2012+;
- Experience in SQL Databases;
- Experience in Cyber Incident Handling;
Desirable Experience and Education:
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification, or industry equivalent;
- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor Certification;
- Experience in configuring Microsoft Windows 2008+ and Microsoft Windows 7+ Active Directory domain environments;
- Knowledge and working experience of security and network technologies such as IPv6; Firewalls, Virtual Private Networks, Public Key Infrastructure, Intrusion Detection and Forensic Appliances;
- Experience with Wireless LAN technologies and Endpoint Security of mobile devices such as Laptops, Apple iOS devices (tablets and smartphones);
- Experience in Cyberspace security hygiene and compliancy management;
- Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments;
- Experience in supporting Digital Forensic activities;
- SFIA Information Security SCTY Skills and Competency;
- SFIA Information Assurance INAS Skills and Competency;
- Experience in Accreditation activities and processes;
- Experience in System Security, Security Architecture, Network
- Security Engineering, Security Governance, and Risk Management;
- Experience in common Security Tools such as Tenable Nessus and Nmap;
- Knowledge of common MS and Linux updating and patching systems, IT security frameworks and governance models, and Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) v2.0 and 3.X standards;
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
