This role is part of Rackspace Private Cloud Business unit. EDUCATION:·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business is preferred.·       Experience in the range of 4 to 8 yrs.  EXPERIENCE:·       4 + years of solutions engineering experience or experience working with technologies such as Openstack, VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift·       At least One or two industry certifications required: Linux+, RHCSA/RHCE, VMware, CCNA, VCP, OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes are preferred.·       Experience with or working knowledge of VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes on VMware is a plus.·    Technical Skillso   Experience working with OpenStack+ Kubernetes/OpenShift technology.o   Certification in Openstack plus Tanzu/OpenShift/Kuberneteso   Ability to lead customer workshops for requirements gathering solution mapping or proposal playback.o   Ability to Respond to technical RFP/RFIo   Owning a specific technology area and becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME)o   Have experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes architecture and configuration best practices and guidelines. o   Ability to work with Product team to provide feedback from customers and try to improve the product. Nice to have Skills-o   Experience of working with Private Cloud platforms based on VMware.o   Experience of Tanzu architecture, configuration is a plus but not mandatory.o   Knowledge and experience around security in OpenStack and VMware platformo   Experience in Managed or Professional Services engagements is highly beneficial.o   Hands-on with DevOps Tools such as Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, octopus, Git, Bamboo, JuJu, and others is a plus.o   IT Industry experience or exposure to technologies and applications such as Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, configuration management, Kafka or kinesis, Zookeeper, WordPress, Magento, and Hybris is a plus.  Location: Bangalore (WFH) or Remote Work About Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
