Associate Director | Cyber

We have a small but passionate set of individuals in Christchurch who not only stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the information security space, but are committed to help people and businesses find solutions to problems that they never knew existed.

What will your typical day look like?

• Work with our existing cyber specialists to help grow our South Island practice.
• Build lasting relationships with clients to identify and support their immediate and long-term security needs.
• Serve as a senior advisor to key clients on their cyber, privacy and resilience needs and bringing them valuable insights and fresh thinking.
• Help our clients solve their hard security challenges as they balance the need for business transformation, regulations, and risk management.
• Deliver engagements that provides quality advice and help, while doing it on time and on budget.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

• Business development, sales or demonstrable relationship building experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience delivering cyber security solutions. Appropriate certifications and qualifications in IT Security or Computer Science will be highly beneficial.
• Proven leadership and management qualities, which translates into an ability to deliver tangible valuable to clients and teams.
• An outcomes focused mindset who can comfortably translate business requirements into deliverable actions that meet or exceed client expectations, and able to identify future opportunities to innovate and improve our levels of service to clients.
• Able to demonstrate a good understanding across a range of cyber security topics that could include cloud security, DevSecOps, identity & access management, security testing and privacy.
• Experience working in consulting/professional services environment with a focus on people and relationships.
• Excellent command of English, spoken and written, as report writing, and presentations are an essential part of the position.
