Job Description: 
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Cybersecurity to provide a range of software administration functions, implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture, and to perform on-going security testing and code review to improve software security. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise; providing engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities; contribute to all levels of the architecture; maintain technical documentation; consult team members on secure coding practices; develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices.
Here's what you need:
<ul>
<li>
Must have three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in three (3) or more of the following:
<ul>
<li>Network/System Engineering and Administration: Cisco, Brocade, GPON technology knowledge is a plus, PXE Boot architecture, AWS EC2/S3.</li>
<li>Computer Hardware: Basic troubleshooting, BIOS setting (UEFI/BIOS), Microcomputers (Raspberry Pi/Beagle Bone).</li>
<li>Network Security: Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) installation and maintenance, SNORT rules creation and deployment, advanced PCAP analysis (TShark, MiTMProxy), IDS log analysis, analysis of web logs, proxy logs, and firewall logs,</li>
<li>Software Development: Proficient in one or more computer languages (compiled or interpreted), Advanced ETL scripting in Powershell /python/bash, web application development and scraping, MS Office Macros, web server administration, database systems (SQL/NOSQL), high level languages (C/C++/Java).</li>

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $102,100 - $141,300 and information on benefits offered is here.

<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>

<li>Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or Doctorate and 2 years of relevant experience </li><li>Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security)          </li><li>18 semester hours of military training/ coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an Associate's degree (applicable to Level 1 - Level 4).            </li><li>Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration. </li><li>Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course), Undergraduate Cyber Training (UCT), Network Warfare Bridge Course (NWBC)/Intermediate Network Warfare Training (INWT), or Cyber Defense Operations will be considered for the relevant experience required. 20–24-week courses will count as 6 months of experience, and 10-14 weeks will count as 3 months of experience.   </li></ul>Clearance Requirement: This position requires an Active TS/SCI CI polygraph clearance. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role?
