Workplace Security Specialist - 4512

We are looking for a Workplace Security Specialist (4512) to work for our client, European Commission, remotely. 

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting Security Risk Assessments using the GOVSEC platform and the first version of Excel file supporting ITSRM (basic tool)
• Identify the existing Security measures and propose new ones
• Diagnose potentially complex security-related and/or identity-related issues
• Design implement and support effective solutions for mitigating security risks
• Integrating different security technologies in a complex environment
• Provision of security studies associated with information system projects
• Evaluate business environment, security policies and setup of IT
• Establish processes, and all relevant documentation for the information security management system
• Develop training and awareness programs and provide training services
• Conduction of Cybersecurity awareness trainings.

Job Requirements

• Expertise in Security Risk Assessment and Security Maturity Assessment and familiarity with ITSRM2 methodology
• Expertise in IT security for the cloud solutions
• Experience with GovSec.RM tool
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work in a proactive and independent manner, with a focus on priorities, communication and decision-making capacities
• Good organization, coordination and planning skills – with a high degree of drive and desire to empower ICT change and evolution
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to audiences ranging from senior management to technology specialists 

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects
• Excellent Team Player
• Ability to understand, speak and write English (B1/B2) will be an advantage
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required

Certifications & Standards

No certification is mandatory however the following certifications would be considered an advantage for the performance of tasks:

• CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor
• CISM: Certified Information Security Manager. 

EU-Nationality is mandatory for most of our job openings, but for some of them we can, also, take into consideration CVs, that acquire work permit in the location where the client is or the job should be performed
