Join our growing team and make a difference!Summary:The Technical Lead provides program-wide leadership, analysis, and technical expertise to multiple technical teams. across multiple areas of program delivery, including IT operations, virtualized infrastructure, software development, database management, and cybersecurity. Supporting an Army IT organization with mission-critical duties, they collaborate to identify, develop, and operationalize solutions that drive measurable improvements.Major Duties:-          Analyze current IT operations and architectures to identify areas of improvement in reliability, performance, capacity, and recovery processes-          Recommend and champion software improvements to support security, scalability, and observability -          Create & evangelize high level plans, concepts, and solutions in writing and presentations-          Identify, prototype, and support delivery of solutions to automate operational workloads, including full lifecycle support from proof of concept to production-          Design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot the automation and monitoring of services that span hybrid environments, including hybrid/multi-cloud-          Help define, transition to, and grow a Site Reliability Engineering model-          Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation as-needed-          Define, setup, and manage full stack monitoring and corrective actions-          Analyze monitoring, logs, and/or trace data to develop quantitative measurements that support high-availability operations-          Support program management and technical teams in their deliveryTechnical Qualifications:-          Deep experience in at least one software/infrastructure component (e.g. operating systems, compute, storage, networking, application runtimes, and/or databases)-          Fluency with one or more programming languages and associated ecosystem, such as Java, C#, Python, Go, or PowerShell-          Experience with an API-driven IaaS/PaaS computing environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform) and related Infrastructure as Code tools-          Experience with one or more infrastructure or applications in a distributed form, such as a high-availability cluster -          Experience with cluster management and/or PaaS solutions, such as Kubernetes-          Experience with monitoring solutions such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Graphite, Nagios, InfluxDB-          Fluency in one or more configuration and automation tools, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SCCM, Terraform, or CloudFormation-          Experience with one or more compute virtualization or process isolation solutions, such as VMware, MS Hyper-V, KVM, VirtualBox, Docker, or LXC Base Qualifications-          Must be a U.S. citizen.-          Must be able to receive a Top Secret clearance.-          Must be available for on-site work in the National Capital Region.-          Must have a Security+ ce certification and the ability to acquire a CASP+ certification within 6 months-          Must be certified in at least one area of technology expertise (see “Technical Qualifications”)Halvik offers a competitive full benefits package including:Company-supported medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD insuranceBenefits include 10 federal holidays and PTO.401(k) with company matchingFlexible Spending Accounts for commuter, medical, and dependent care expensesTuition AssistanceCharitable Contribution matchingTo comply with the guidance provided by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force (Task Force) for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors, Halvik is requiring COVID-19 vaccinations for all their employees except where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation. Halvik Corp is an equal opportunity employer.
