Join our growing team and make a difference!Summary: The Business Analyst combines technical, management, and communication skills to support the entire team. They support each core function of the delivery team, including technical operations, software development, customer business processes, project management, and analysis. They capture, organize, document, track, and report information relevant to team activities, IT solution functionality, security, and deliverables.Major Duties:-          Create, edit, and maintain project deliverables, such as status reports, tracking artifacts, DoDAF artifacts, and functional documentation. -          Prepare reports and briefs for regular interfacing with with customer, team, and other stakeholders.-          Plan and manage software delivery, including identifying new features, developing requirements, coordinating with development team on testing and release, coordinating with deployment/infrastructure team on release procedures, participating in Change Control Board meetings, and completing necessary artifacts to support release.-          Support software testing using either manual or automated methods.-          Manage security compliance processes, including operating scanning tools (such as Fortify), tracking issue counts, coordinating with development team on remediation, documenting solutions, and reporting overall compliance.  -          Support cybersecurity documentation, including updating artifacts in eMASS.-          Support management of cloud development environment(s), including access control, setup, cost estimation, instituting backup processes, and testing.Desirable Skills/Experience:-          Experience with IT projects in a DoD context-          Familiarity with web application development (Java, HTML/JavaScript)-          Familiarity with relational database operations (Oracle)-          Ability to read source code and other technical artifacts, including reasoning about object-oriented and imperative code structures-          Experience with NIST RMF controls and related cybersecurity processes and standards-          Experience with a commercial cloud-based environment, such as AWS or Azure-          Understanding of mathematical optimization, including programming and analysis Base Qualifications:-          B.A. or B.S. degree-          US citizenship-          Ability to obtain a Secret clearance-          Ability to obtain an IAT Level II certificationHalvik offers a competitive full benefits package including:Company-supported medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD insuranceBenefits include 10 federal holidays and PTO.401(k) with company matchingFlexible Spending Accounts for commuter, medical, and dependent care expensesTuition AssistanceCharitable Contribution matchingTo comply with the guidance provided by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force (Task Force) for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors, Halvik is requiring COVID-19 vaccinations for all their employees except where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation. Halvik Corp is an equal opportunity employer.
