Join our growing team and make a difference!*** Candidates must have an active Top Secret Clearance and a CISSP Certification****Working with a team of security personnel, the selected candidate will provide support to our federal customer for all security related activities, including, but not limited to, developing and maintaining all necessary security documentation; and developing, recommending, and implementing approved security contingency plans, incident response plans, and disaster recovery procedures for the Case Processing applications and across the NBIB IT PMO. During the current pandemic, work will be performed remotely. There is possibility for a hybrid in-office/remote schedule after things return to normal.The candidate will:• Interpret and evaluate proposed legislation and broad-based policies concerning information technology. Assesses potential impact on existing program requirements working with Case Processing System Analysts. Evaluates the feasibility of implementing new developments to enhance systems security and reliability and analyze findings and develop long-range plans to minimize risks, mitigate vulnerabilities, prevent security incidents, and insure systems reliability across Case Processing and NBIB IT PMO.• Provide technical expertise to the design, development of Case Processing applications that will implement required information security policies and procedures.• Devise and conduct risk assessment programs to identify areas of potential vulnerability for all applications within the NBIB IT PMO application suite.• Develop, recommend, and implement approved security contingency plans, incidentresponse plans, and disaster recovery procedures for the Case Processing applications and across the NBIB IT PMO.• Coordinate with network security and application teams in determining Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Protection Systems (IDS/IPS), Firewall, Security Proxy, Email Security, and Vulnerability Scanning Solutions that will be used with Case Processing and across the NBIB IT PMO.• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve network security system engineering issues with in Case Processing applications and across the NBIB IT PMO. Assist in ensuring that all PIPS components are FISMA compliant and assist in documenting and implementing specific controls to strengthen the information security of PIPS systems and across the NBIB IT PMO.
