The position requires an experienced professional with a background in quality assurance. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast paced environment.

The Role:

• Drive validation of high quality, high performance and production ready software
• Ensure quality from low level software to end applications
• Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
• Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
• Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
• Support and coordinate between QA engineering and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer 
• Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality tests
• Working knowledge on Android and/or Linux
• Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience

Preferred:

• Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle
• Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate

Education:

• Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.·       California (Bay Area) - $100,000-$137,500 Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
